The Aperture Lab serves as our core qualitative research space, investigating advanced text compression and poetic translation methodologies. The lab currently directs two distinct narrative pipelines: The Unornamented Verse Project, an active pilot collaborating with the Global Arts in Medicine fellowship to transform cross-cultural testimonies into structured poetic records, and The Ordinary After, an academically supervised research track positioned for institutional grant expansion to study human meaning across major structural transitions. Both projects operate under a strict consent-first model that guarantees absolute data privacy and long-term legacy longevity.

The Poetry Leadership Fellowship uses poetry as a practice of attention. From that attention grows a different kind of leadership, one that begins in listening and returns in service to the communities that first gave fellows their language. A seven-month fellowship in Nigeria for ages 16 to 21, built on three pillars: Language, Leadership, and Legacy.

The HumanMail Initiative sends handwritten poems through the mail to people in moments of grief, celebration, uncertainty, and healing, and to people on an ordinary day, simply because everyone deserves to be remembered. Poems are written by volunteer Human Mail Poets and delivered under strict confidentiality and consent standards. It's a public practice of generosity, attention paid one handwritten poem at a time, in the belief that slowness itself is a form of respect.

MuseVerse Circle is a global poetry collective dedicated to celebrating the soul of the world through language, founded on the conviction that a poem heard in its original tongue carries the full weight of the world it came from. Gatherings have spanned seven language traditions so far, and counting, honoring every language spoken, written, signed, or communicated.

The Civic Record turns personal testimony into a tool for public change. We collect first-person stories about the systems that shape everyday life, then distill them into structured narrative records submitted directly to municipal boards and public hearings, giving policymakers real human evidence alongside the usual statistics. The current focus is three areas where the gap between lived experience and policy is widest: affordable housing, mental health, and workforce development. Told with discipline and care, these stories help communities understand what's actually happening, and help the people making decisions build something better.
